In the last two seasons, Aurelia Nuoto has had the honor of enrolling an athlete of international caliber also in the cross-country swimming sector. Rachele Bruni, born in 1990, is the Rio 2016 Olympic silver medalist in the 10km gold also in 2016 at the European Championships in Hoorn in the Netherlands in the same distance and in the Team Event. He confirmed himself at very high levels in 2017 by winning the bronze in the 4x1.25km mixed relay at the world championships, climbing again on the podium as third in the world cup always on the distance of 10km.
